Euro 2008 Stadium in Zürich, Switzerland
Zürich's euro 2008 stadium is the Letzigrund Stadion, the home of F.C. Zürich and temporarily home to Grasshopper-Club Zürich whilst their stadium is under construction. The ground has been rebuilt to hold 30,000 spectator, making it suitable to host euro 2008 games. The is eco-friendly with the roof being covered with vegetation and the ground itself is set low, rising just 16 metres above street level at its highest point.
The ground first opened in February 1927 and has had several extensions and remodeling since, and in January 2005, UEFA approved plans to rebuild the stadium for use as a euro 2008 venue, the stadium also has facilities for athletics events and concerts, includes an eight lane athletics track. The Letzigrund Stadion will host three Group C games:

Getting to the Letzigrund Stadion
It is 14 kilometres from the nearest airport and four kilometres from the city centre with good public transport links with buses and trams. It's a 15 minutes on tram #2 from Paradeplatz to the stadium, on match days special free buses will be provided for those with valid match tickets.
