Euro 2008 Stadium in Vienna, Austria

Vienna's Euro 2008 stadium will be the Ernst-Happel-Stadion, the largest football stadium in Austria and home to the Austrian national team. The final of the tournament will be played at this UEFA Five-Star rated ground. The Ernst-Happel, which has held five UEFA finals in the past, has recently been expanded from a 49,825 to a 53,008 capacity stadium and will host three Group B fixtures, all featuring Austria, the complete fixture list for the ground is as follows:

Getting to the Ernst Happel

The stadium has excellent access for fans, being close to the airport in Vienna, reachable by bus or tram and having its own underground connection to the city centre. Located at A - 1020 Wien, Meiereistraße and close to the Vienna-Schwechat international airport, the Ernst Happel stadium can be reached by tram or bus (take Tram No. 21 to Praterstern. Bus #80A) and will have its own underground station by tournament time (Stadion Station on the U2 Line.)
