Tickets for Euro 2008
Official sales of EURO 2008 tickets are now over, although some are still being sold by individual football associations of the sixteen teams which have qualified, that covers around 20% of the ground for each match.
Tickets were offered in 3 categories depeding on the location in the stadium. Individual ticket prices were depend ant on the chosen category and whether it is the opening match, a group game or what type of knockout game it was. Fans could either order Individual Match Tickets or apply for Follow My Team packages which were only in category 2 but meant fans could watch each of their teams games. The application phase for tickets was over subscribed so tickets were distributed using a lottery.
