Euro 2008 Stadium in Salzburg, Austria

Salzburg's Euro 2008 Stadium is EM-Stadion Wals-Siezenheim the home of Austrian league side Red Bull Salzburg, it is the only ground in the Austrian Bundesliga that has an artifical pitch. Formerly known as the Bullen-Arena it has been redeveloped from seating just 18,200 to now hold 30,000 making it suitable for Euro 2008 group games.

The ground was first built in 2003 to be the home of SV Wüstenrot Salzburg who became Red Bull Salzburg when taken over by the drink company. EM-Stadion is in Wals-Siezenheim, a suburb of Salzburg, Austria, located just 3km from the airport and 10km from the city centre, which is the city of Mozart. Located outside of Salzburg at Stadionstraße 1/3, A-5071 Wals-Siezenheim take the tram on lines 1, 20, or 28 or the bus from Central Station on StadtBus Line 1 and get off at EM Stadion Wals-Siezenheim.
