Euro 2008 Stadium in Innsbruck, Austria
The Tivoli Neu stadium is a 30000 capacity arena in the southern part of Innsbruck, Austria, it is the home stadium of Austrian team FC Wacker Tirol. This stadium was built in the year 2000 with an original capacity of 17400. This was nearly doubled in an expansion to host the European Championship 2008, increasing its capacity to 30000 covered seats. This stadium substituted the original Tivoli stadium, a 16000 capacity stadium in Innsbruck, which was closed down four years after the Tivoli Neu (New Tivoli) Stadium was opened.

Getting to Tivoli Neu Stadium
South of Innsbruck's main station, Stadion stop off Bus #A from Innsbruck Hauptbahnhof heading towards Stadion gets you there or take the #F service to Landessportcenter and then it is a four minute walk; or alternatively on the #J service from Innsbruck Landesmuseum, get off at Landessportcenter which is also a four minute walk to Tivoli Neu, which is part of the The Olympiaworld Innsbruck complex, that includes the renovated Olympic ice hall Olympiahalle, a sports center called Landessportcenter Tirol, a new ice hall Tiroler Wasserkraft Arena and the stadium itself.
